Sunbelt Tubing Spacer: How Does it Work?
Traditional tubing spacers place piping and tubing directly on the metal cable hangers. We improved the design by lining the cable hanger with a non-corrosive, UV resistant thermoplastic from Deepwater Corrosion Services. This plastic is extremely durable and, by removing metal-to-metal contact, prevents the corrosion of the tubing.
The plastic strips have specially designed notches that keep the tubing in place while also facilitating air flow. This design does not only offer stability, but it also reduces corrosion and eliminates possible puncture damage caused by shock or vibration. These notches can be adjusted according to fit any tubing diameter.
