New Technology from your Stud Welding Company

Recently, we have created multiple new accessories that extend the lifespan of certain projects. Both of these inventions were driven by necessity and could have only happened because of our experience with engineers and contractors. Two of our newest innovations include:

• Sunbelt Tubing Spacer: Traditional tubing spacers are made with metal, which eventually corrodes, resulting in risky leaks and expensive retrofitting projects. We partnered with Deepwater Corrosion Services to manufacture a specially configured tubing spacer that uses a non-corrosive, UV resistant, rigid thermoplastic to hold the tubes in place. Special slits keep the pipes in place while also having a minimal part of the surface touching the tubing. In the long-run, this placement also helps reduce corrosion.
• Wire Tie Down Studs: We noticed that adhesive tie downs eventually loosened and fell off the surface. Drilling holes into the surface and screwing the ties down to the wall was also tedious process. Moreover, we wanted to invent a tie down that could swivel, thereby reducing tension and increasing the lifespan of the stud. What we came up with are wire tie downs that can be attached by welding the stud onto the wall. An instructional video is below.
