Our Most Popular Weld Studs

If we were to list all of the weld studs we carry, this page would have taken 5 hours to load. There are some studs that we manufacture that are popular because of their versatility and/or because they are relatively rare.

• MIL specification weld studs: These studs are used for both military and civilian applications and therefore have more stringent criteria than other CD studs. We can manufacture MIL spec stud to meet Type VI, Class 1,2 and 3 requirements. They can be made with mild steel copper plating or mild steel zinc plating and can come in flanged threaded, Grooved (Annular ring) and Notched end forms.
• Bi-metallic studs and pins: These stainless steel pins have aluminum bases and can be manufactured for both Arc and CD stud welding.
• Mushroom Caps: These studs can be made out of stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum and are generally used for shipbuilding and for naval applications.
• Weld Thru Deck (WTD) weld studs: In addition to the weld studs, we also carry the ferrules, ferrule holder and grips needed to properly weld these studs.
• Collar weld studs: For mild steel studs, Cadmium, Copper, Nickel, and Zinc plating are available upon customer request. Stainless steel studs are also available.
• Wire Tie Down Stud:These weld studs are a fantastic alternative to adhesive wire tie downs and made to use CD welding machines. Wire tie down studs are an original Sunbelt invention.
